Foodnoms takes its Shortcuts integration to the next level with a major update that introduces 44 new Shortcuts actions. This overhaul makes it easier to log meals, track nutrition goals, and manage your food library—right from the Shortcuts app. It also prepares Foodnoms for Apple Intelligence, ensuring deeper automation and smarter interactions in the future.
Here’s what’s new:
This update makes Foodnoms the most flexible and automation-friendly nutrition tracking apps available.
Foodnoms is free to download, with an optional Foodnoms+ subscription. Most of the new Shortcuts actions are available without a subscription.
Since launching Foodnoms, my goal has been to make food tracking faster, smarter, and more intuitive.
Shortcuts have long been a great tool for customizing and automating tracking, but earlier versions of Foodnoms’ integration had limitations. With this update, Foodnoms now offers a deeper, more capable Shortcuts experience that gives users more control and flexibility.
This release also lays the foundation for Apple Intelligence, ensuring that Foodnoms is prepared for the next wave of intelligent automation.
To explore Foodnoms’ Siri & Shortcuts capabilities, start by setting up the app and navigating to Settings > Siri & Shortcuts. There, you’ll find example Shortcuts and direct links to our in-depth help documentation, which covers all available actions, video demonstrations, practical use cases, and more.
